„Dioden“ mit geringer Verlustleistung
Verluste von Dioden zu minimieren ist immer dort von großer Bedeutung, wo hohe Ströme bei relativ niedrigen Spannungen fließen. Das ist zum Beispiel bei der Parallelschaltung von Solarmodulen oder Lithium-Ionen-Akkus der Fall. Um solche Verluste zu minimieren, wurden sogenannte „Ideal Diode Controller“ entwickelt.
