The idea is to use an accelerometer (the MMA7361) and place this on the top of your hand. An Atmel controller (AtTiny45) reads the accelerometer and sends this over USB to the computer. The computer will recognize this as a standard HID mouse, making your hand control the mouse pointer on your screen. It will feel very sci-fi like and might even reduce RSI problems.
