SOIC8 to DIP8 adapters are readily available.

In the audio industry, some distributors still carry legendary SIP8 integrated circuits that are becoming obsolete. DIP8 chips are also following suit. JRC had the NJM5532L, NJM4558L, and NJM4580L, widely used in frequency equalizers, noise reduction units, and more.

The advantage is that the circuits can be powered via V+, V-, and 0V buses.
My first steps into SMD PCB design led me to have them manufactured.
This method allows me to benefit from solder masking and silkscreen printing.
I will primarily use the PCB with NE5532 SOIC8 chips, but it is suitable for any 8-pin circuit.
It will be very useful for troubleshooting older devices.
It can also be used for breadboards.
